Once logged in, do a "cd /web" (not "cd web") - the slash is important.
All of this should be explained here (just replace the .fr domain
with a valid one of your server) ->

It is also displayed when you use a Unix based ftp.

No - but the others introduce complications. It depends on your
situation, but the best would be to use the standard RaQ interface
as far as possible. We have some virtual sites that weren't introduced
via the interface (they were included in a separate httpd.conf file).
But we also had to modify the sendmail and stats components to cater
for this.
In the end - not really worth the effort. The only reason for
doing this was to allow one client to have all his sites under
one login/directory. A better way might have been to make use of
the user web space - but at the time we did not think about that
option.
