Re: [cobalt-users] [RaQ4] Bandwidth usage

You can try IP Metering systems like IPFM and IP Meter.

http://www.ipmeter.com/

We use IPFM but are considering IP Meter due to it's advanced interface.
IPFM is command line only. As far as I know...

Subject: [cobalt-users] [RaQ4] Bandwidth usage

Hi folks

I would like to be able to monitor the total bandwidth usage for each
virtual domain on my RaQ4. This would be used for billing my clients
for excess bandwidth usage, so obviously needs to be accurate, taking
into account http/ftp/email usage through the account.

I know the RaQ4 GUI has a bandwidth limit feature on a per IP address
basis, but this only allows you to constrict the bytes per second
going in/out - I don't like this because it's all but impossible to
calculate a valid figure to use for a monthly GB limit (unless the
account is used at 100% capacity 100% of the time, which of course
they're not).

Any solutions out there?

Tim Skipper
