I use neomail (neomail.sourceforge.org) which took me about
an hour to set up and has worked flawlessly ever since.

There are some special instructions for the RAQ on the site
that you need to follow but it's very trivial.

(3 *days* to set up a web mail client??  Hope you weren't
billing some poor sucker by the hour, for $3K+ you could
buy a really decent commercial web package!)
