I've decided against it since 4/5 of the set consists of "normal" 
Linux material (books that can be bought for less than $50 each) 
and a .pdf file (the user guide).  

I'm not quite willing to spend $700 on the one manual that 
contains the crux of the Cobalt system.  They should think 
about unbundling the set.

Anyway - this was posted to the developer list, and somebody 
from Cobalt indicated that they took notice of the issue.  
He mentioned something about a 3rd pary agreement or the other
- it might be that they signed a deal with the producers of the 
manual set.

It will be interesting to see how many people actually bought 
the set, and how many thought that it is worth the money.
