I've been looking around trying to hunt down the most popular web based
email programs and evaluate them. I wanted to throw the hook in the water to
see if anyone on this list has any experience with installing, configuring,
or running web-based email programs all in all.
One technical question I can ask is whether or not IMAP is running on the
RaQ4 by default. I notice the module is loaded via apache, but there is no
imapd.conf in /etc and it's not a running process by default.. I'm sure I've
answered my own question but I want to be sure.
Cyris is one program I've seen, and qmail, but other than those two I have
not found anything yet on web based email software. It doesn't have to be
super flexable, but the more features the better, but above all it should be
customizable without any massive crazy interaction from me via code. I hate
code. I'll work with it and I pick up fast, but I hate code. hehe.. Thanks
to everyone who's got idea's.. and for those of you who don't, listen up! :)
