Let's say I have a user mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx, and have an email alias for him called mike.smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [...] If I send mail to mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx, it is delivered properly; however, mail sent to mike.smith@xxxxxxxxxxxx is returned with an error message stating that the user does not exist. Any hints or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
* Does your virtusertable use only TABS and no spaces? It doesn't like spaces. * Have you rehashed the virtusertable? makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable < /etc/mail/virtusertableYou don't need to restart sendmail after modifying either the access file or the virtusertable. You only need to rehash them.
