Bill,
I had this on my Raq4i with the 24Mb glibc update, exactly the same symptoms
as you describe.
Eventually I tried to get the raq to pull it directly into the /packages dir
and it worked just fine.
No idea what caused it but that sorted it all just fine.
Telnet in, move to the packages dir, connect ftp to the directory on the
cobalt site and use the get command to pull it across. You can use an ftp
package looking at the same directory to monitor the download progress.
Dunno if this is the correct way to do this since I'm still Linuxly
challenged, but it worked for me!
