No, most mailers, when you hit 'reply' , incluse the invisible part of the
headers in the email. The headers for a mailing list contain magic keys
that keep track of threads by being copied from message to message...
peek at the headers ...there are cute things like:
In-Reply-To: <>
Which is a thread ID copied from the message ID of the original message
Some emailers even do it usenet style...
References: <NEBBLCAKKLGHFHFIMMPCAEGGDDAA.ajb@xxxxxxxxxxx>
<>
etc....
Starting a brand new blank messages omits all this, so the list knows it's
a new thread. (Using a dumb email client omits them also, at which point
the mailing list software has to guess based on the subject)...
