[cobalt-users] do_try_to_free_pages failed problem

Hello everyone,

there is a fix in 'development' currently (it's been available since
last year for regular linux kernels) for the "do_try_to_free_pages
failed" problem occurring and not ending when swap gets almost full
temporarily; as usual, Cobalt support does not have an ETA for the fix
(again, the product is broken, a fix is in the wild, just not
incorporated in their product). The original Linux kernel fix is
available at

and has been there since at least the end of OCTOBER in 2000!

They also said they are working on improving their support procedures to
include ticket handling/automatic status notification, but they have
been saying that for about a year now. Also, for anyone calling EMEA
support - EMEA is using a different ticketing system and cannot give you
any information on US support calls.
