Just wondering how everyone else is handling the issue of permissions for PHP
scripts and the directories they run in?
Example;
I have a simple counter script counter.php that checks for the existence of a
file in the current directory and, if it doesn't find it, creates it.
The directory permissions, by default, do not let the httpd user that apache
(and therefore php) run as have write access to the directory. I know various
ways to get around this but, I'm wondering what the general consensus is on
this issue.
Cheers,
Brad
