Has anyone had any experience of changing the fan which is by the PSU on a
RAQ3i.
I have done the first fan which cools the CPU which was easy, although I
found that it occasionally stopped and needed a gentle blow to start it
again. A bit worrying see as I wanted to replace it as it seemed not to be
working as efficiently.
Anyway, the second fan is covered by the metal shield around the PSU. I
think I need to to use an allen key to undo it. I tried one earlier and it
seems to work, although I didn't undo it fully seeing as the power was still
on. Yikes.
Once that is off, is it straightforward or are there other nasties to get in
the way?
Gordon.
