[cobalt-users] FrontPage Web Could Not Be Configured Successfully

Greetings -
I've spent several hours going through the archives on
this popular topic, and I've done everything
suggested.

I'm on a Cobalt RaQ3. When I added FPUser SiteAdmin
privileges to an existing user, it created this
problem. Now, I've disabled FP for the site, and when
attempting to re-enable FP for the site, I get the
"could not be configured" error in site admin.

I've checked all permissions, and they are
nobody.nobody. I've telneted into the box as root,
and there is NO LONGER a www.domain.com:80.cnf file in
the usr/local/frontpage directory for this account -
it's NOT there.

Also - I telneted in and removed the only remaining FP
folders - the _vti_pvt directory with the frontpg.lck
file. Both have been removed completely, leaving no
trace of FP stuff in the /web folder, or in the
usr/local/frontpage directory on the server.

I uncheck FP extensions, save changes, and recheck it,
save changes, and get the error.

NOthing has worked - I'm trying not to delete the
entire virtual site and start over, as I'm not sure
the client has it on his local machine, and a backup
would only preserve the bad files I have now.

Can someone please help? I've tried to do as MUCH
HOMEWORK as possible!

Thanks,
