I think what you want to do is reset the passwd and then goto the gui as
admin, and change the admin passwd again.... I had to do this to the qube2
just a few days ago... these steps
(Tested Jun 25 2001 qube2 as a Raq2)
use the paperclip
(no more ssh root logins here)
goto the gui user admin passwd "anything"
change the admin passwd
it will require you to login again..... (use admin)
(and ssh root logins work again)
All is well
