[cobalt-users] services.cgi illegal-error -raq3

hello we have a raq3 and mysteriously.
ftp and telnet have stopped, when we go to the control panel the admin cgi's are
comitting an illegal error.

any idea what may have caused this and more importantly how can we reactivate
say telnet?

We can reboot through the admin interface but the services are not starting.
Please let me know any ideas on how we can restart these services im running
out of ideas and thinking the only solution may be to pop the hard drive in
another machine as a slave drive to fix inetd.
