RE: [cobalt-users] Raq3 unable to find route to host of another R aq3

Brett,

Sorry I do not know the answer but here are some fault finding questions,

is your network running behind a firewall or do have any VLANS configured on
your network?
are you using subnetting?
are both Cobalt boxes plugged in to the same switch/hub or are they at
different locations on your network? are you using the same IP address as
you were using previously before doing an OS install?
is this a one way problem? can you access the newly installed RAQ3i from the
old RAQ3 ?

Subject: [cobalt-users] Raq3 unable to find route to host of another
Raq3

I have a Raq3i that I just did an OS install on. When connected to the
network, the newly installed machine can not find any IP on the other RAQ3.
I get an error that says " no route to host" The gateway and subnet are
configured correctly. The fresh Raq can go outside of my allocated IPs,
just not to the other machine inside my allocatted IPs. Does anyone know
where the problem lies with this?

Thanks,
Brett
