This seems like a double-edged sword to me. On one hand, it makes
things very end-user-friendly; but on the other hand, it encourages
them to not pay attention when typing in URLs. Also, I think that
someone with a bit of curiosity would see this happen and just start
typing in all kinds of things just to see what pages the server lists
off for them - hoping they'll find something they're not supposed to
see. And they might! How many of you, when testing something, make up
a strange page name that nothing links to?

I wouldn't do it.
I'd make a custom 404 page reminding the surfer to check their
spelling, that everything is case-sensitive, and offering up the
site's main menu so they can continue their navigation. Maybe echo
what they had typed in, so that they really *look* at it, and maybe
they'll see where their typo is.
