Here is my problem...
I use Secure CRT on Windows to connect to my RAQ3 via ssh2 with port 21
forwarded for secure FTP'ing. Then I use my windows WS_FTP client to
connect to 127.0.0.1 (localhost - my Win box) for secure FTP logons and
transfers. I would assume that many of you do a similar thing. Works
great, I use it several times a day.
After installing several updates this morning, including proftpd update
4.0.1, the FTP procedure described above no longer works. SecureCRT can
still connect via ssh2 and I can FTP straight to my RAQ3 fine (using the IP
or domain name), but I can NOT FTP to my RAQ3 by FTP'ing to localhost and
using the ssh client's port forwarding anymore.
This is a huge problem since I run several automated FTP backups of DIR
trees from my RAQ3 to my Win client each day using the above FTP method.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and or remedies.
