My IBM PS/2 Model 30 (286 is all I remember) was about $3,000 in September 1987.
My first notebook, a Compaq LTE (386/25, 12MB RAM, 120MB drive, 14.4Kbps modem, passive gray-scale) was about $6,000 in 1991 (?).
