Bill,
I use SSH all the time, telnet and ftp are for victims. Get a copy of
OpenSSH from one of the mirrors listed on www.openssh.org. I use the
RPMS from here:
ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/rpm/RH62/
Note: you don't need the 'askpass' and the 'askpass-gnome' RPMS.
