Ackkkk... then you're running with quite a few glaring security holes!
Check the list carefully and make sure you've got all of the patches
previous to the FP & Glibc packages. If they're all there, you might
try uninstalling the package just before them and reinstalling it,
perhaps it didn't go in properly. I know this sounds really basic, but
are you absolutely sure you're on the correct download page (ie RaQ2,
RaQ3, RaQ4)? I've got all of them bookmarked and sometimes
accidentally end up on the RaQ3 page rather than the RaQ4 page due to
spastic finger-clicking and lack of sleep. ;)

If you can't get them to install, contact Cobalt Support because you
*really need* the updates following FP & Glibc. I'm worried that
someone may have already hacked a kernel or program on your machine
and that's why other things won't install; but Cobalt Support should
(*should*) be able to help you out. If nothing else, they can document
your problem (and the specific configuration of your machine, programs
installed, etc.) and work on it.

Then if Cobalt can't fix it; I would go so far as to request a new box
from your NOC (if you're leasing) to transfer your sites to; because
you are missing some truly important security patches (BIND, ProFtpd,
etc.) on your current box and you're a sitting duck. Not good.

I just checked the RaQ4 download page myself and the FP update is the
first one listed; ack. Not sure how you can get to the ones prior to
that, perhaps someone on the list can help you - if not, again, ask
Cobalt. They should at least have a link to the older packages so that
we can check our lists - grrr.

Good luck...
