I can set up a wildcard subdomain by using the $INCLUDE in the pri.domain
file in etc/named. As long as I point that to a site on its own ip I have no
problems
if i direct that to a site sitting on a shared ip then it hits the first
domain in the namevirtualhost block. this makes sense as it doesn't have a
server alias for the selected hostname in the domain.com virtualhost block.
question is - is it possible to set up a serveralias *.domain.com to allow
this wildcard hostname to point to my right hosted domain ?
cheers
