You should be able to put pretty much any combination of RAM in it you like
so long as it's PC100 RAM.
We just upgraded the RAM in our RAQ3i which originally had 128MB on a single
stick. We installed #2 - 256MB pieces of PC100 RAM with no problems.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Raq3 RAM upgrades
Hello.
I am soon to acquired from a customer (for free!) a raq3, but they are
exchanging the ram down to the minimum possible first, so we'll be ramming
it up, possibly to 256 or 512. What are the rules for ram?
All I can find says the machine has two slots for Ram, so can I just buy a
256 to put it in, or do both slots have to be occupied in pairs anyway - ie
two 128's, or two 256's?
Or could I retain whatever they leave in it, and I stick a 256 in the other
slot?
Any clarification of this would be appreciated, or pointers to any sites
detailing the strategy.
