" Hi guys,
I really hope you can help shed some light on a problem I 've got here. I've
ben searching the archives all day, and have found some info on what seem
realted subjects, but not my specific problem. I have a site on a RAQ4 with
FP extensions enabled, and all seems fine, except..
When publishing a form whre the results are to be emailed to a recipient,
the script runs, and generates the resluts page fine, with no errors, but
the resulting email is never generated. If the form is to save the entry
into a text file, it will do that happily, but, as I say, no error message,
and no email!
Having looked in the archive, I have amended the www.site.com:80.cnf file in
/usr/local/frontpage/ so that SMTPHost is the ip of the server, and
SendmailCommand is /usr/local/sbin/sendmail %r, but to no avail.
has anyone else experienced this? Any pearls of wisdom on it?
Thanks in advance for any help (all of which would be very greatly
appreciated!)"
Is the mail account the the form is being sent to being hosted on the RaQ?
I have found that if the e-mail account is not hosted on the RaQ then you need
to put the actual mailhost in the cnf file.
