Hi All,
I have searched through the archives and through sendmail.org/com/net but cannot
find the answer.
Currently I'm using Fetchmail to get my e-mail from my ISP however I am thinking
of changing my DNS to point the MX records straight to me. I can only see one
problem with this...
Before I had my lovely Qube I had my entire domain to play with and promptly had
lots of different e-mail's coming to me at different e-mail addresses (seeing as
it all ended up in my inbox I could then file it easily using my mail client).
I think I have found most the e-mail addresses I was using I still could be
missing some. While I realise that Fetchmail is not the best thing to use all
the time (especially from a POP3 box) one of the things I like about it is the
way that it will deliver all mail and then send out an error when a user is not
found. I can then add the alias to my Qube so that it won't happen again.
Question: Can sendmail be configured in the same way. I realise that you cannot
set up a catch all account for a Qube 3 like you can a Raq but can you at least
set up sendmail to copy you on any errors it sends out??
Thank you in advance.
Dan
