It's an option, but that does require two accounts. And it doesn't

Won't the cobalt management scripts obliterate this when a new account
is added, for example?

Yes, but that requires me to do double management. I could easily add
a @iris-advies.com %1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx to my virtusertable, but I don't
know if the cobalt scripts will retain it.
