Quite likely. But that doesn't mean it's ok. The end does not justify the
means. When security and sensitive data are concerns of server admins, site
owners and website users, backdoors are something should be disclosed
upfront. Perhaps that was the case with the original poster's colo, but
until he replies I'm making no assumptions. In this case the best thing the
original poster can do is pick up the phone and have an interactive
conversation with the colo.

Ah, but you forgot the warranty. Forgetting the admin/root password
probably invalidates it. ;-) I was going to say something about the
marketing of the RaQ and a segment of the target customer base, but I
decided I'd rather not start a thread about naive business owners and
unreasonable expectations. Let Darwanism take its course.
