Below is the message that Dan referred to wrt setting up Real Server on the
Raq. Not being an expert with Telnet etc, could somebody explain in "newbie"
language what the following line means. "Then I gave the *.bin file chmod +x
and after that I ran the *.bin file with ./ "
Thanks,
Declan.
Hi,
Pretty simple actually. All I did was FTP the .bin file and *.lic to a temp
directory and then from telnet I logged in and change to root. Then I gave
the *.bin file chmod +x and after that I ran the *.bin file with ./ and from
that point on it was really simple. It gave me default directories and
everything. I just hit enter a few times and it was all done. Then I created
a admin password for the Real Server GUI/Web interface and I was off.
