It most certainly can be. I don't run Webalizer so I can't say for
sure. But I've set up many an Analog to do reverse lookups in order
to provide domain names instead of ip addresses in the output. That
results in a lookup for each hit and that can indeed result in a
whole lot of lame server messages.
