ok - pick one of your virtual sites.
ssh or telnet in to the system
su to root
edit httpd.conf -
pico -w /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
in the virtual site that you have chosen add the following:
AliasMatch ^/usersites/([^/]+)(/(.*))? /home/sites/$1/web/$3
save the file and then:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
after that you will be able to see the site (any of the sites) in:
http://www.domain.com/usersites/www.newsite.com
where domain.com is the site you picked above and the one you added the
AliasMatch to and newsite is the "newsite" :-)
make sure you backup httpd.conf first- cp /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.bak
cheers
