Hi,
We just got a RaQ4r at a colo facility. We are now
undertaking the arduous task of moving 70 sites from our old RaQ4i to
this new RaQ4r with 512MB and mirrored 30GB drives.
I have used cmuExport -n to export one site as test on the
new RaQ4r. Compressed the site is roughly 60MB. One of the files, the
main site file is 55MB.
Then I go to the new RaQ4r and ftp to the old RaQ4i - ftp -i
www.oldraq.com
I can successfully log in and cd to the appropriate directory.
Then I mget *
The first couple of smaller files transfer without a glitch
and then it hits the big file. After about 20 seconds of transfer the
RaQ4r freezes up solid. After about 1 hour it magically comes back to
life again with no interaction on my part, and apparently no
interation on the colos part.
The RaQ4r is completely updated with all the latest updates.
I check the log files of the RaQ4r and it shows nothing out of the
ordinary. The machine apparently is still running nicely while I
cannot get to it.
So, I really need some help on this one. I ahve searched both
the archives and goole and come up empty handed. Can anyone please
shed some light on this issue? We are running out of time before our
old server gets its plug pulled!
Thank you
James Riordon
