Hard to say, any other Information ??
How do you know he is spreading a virus ?
Can you have a copy of the email concerned ?
Do you have any way to have information from a recipient ?
Do you have a second mail server running a virus scanner, you may make your
coblat relaying to it for few time, it will find and block the email in
question for you!!
The virus may be in a file sent via aotomation like a cgi script + sendmail
ot the user can send the mail himself from his end what give you a short
windows to scan the mail until the server deliver the mail.
You maybe want to take a look to your mail stats, if the sender is spaming
or make an excessive use of the smtp to spread the virus, you will notice.
Mail including virus is usually bigger than usual mail and will also be
almost always the same size if automatically generated!
Look forward to "Home Page" virus, it attact outlook express and send
himself to all your contact list, so the user may even not be aware himself!
I got it last month from my lawer ( always the same thing the only thing you
receive is an huge bill or a virus by email). That a common one for the last
2 month !
Back to subject, it have nothing you can do if you dont have virus check
filtering your email and if the virus is sent by a user itself that reduce
your chance to catch it. If you know your server is spaming virus email, it
surely have a way you can have information back from a recipient to help you
finding from where exactly it come from.
