What you want to do, I think is add your alias line below the line that
says
# Put custom additions below (Do not change/remove this line).
Then, makemap hash /etc/mail/virtusertable < /etc/mail/virtusertable

Look in a archive for catch-all(catchall catch all) or on the Coblat
web site.
What works for me is to use
an mx record of
mysite.com mail is sent to the high priority server mysite.com,
although you could also use mail.mysite.com
In Control Panel -> Email Server Parameters
Relay for mysite.com
Host Domain Aliases www.mysite.com
Now, place @www.mysite.com as an aliases of the site administrator.
So, the site admin gets all mail that isn't specifically addressed to
a name/alias at mysite.com, and the alias you entered in virtusertable
gets the mail to the user name you entered.
Or, at least that's how it works here on a RaQ4.
