Update:
I figgered (TM) it out.
The browser I was using was one that I had used a couple of different
user/password combinations with. So in effect the browser wasn't sure
what to send when getting a new page - as it had a few different u/p
combos to go off of.
A nice fresh browser makes it all work as it's supposed to.
Amazing what a few hours of sleep will do for ya. ;)
