It's just the operating system making most efficient use of your memory. The
OS is trying to put all your RAM to use - don't worry about it: it's not a
particular program eating gobs of memory. If you are actually running low on
physical memory due to processes taking it all up, you'll see >44K swap
activity (for some reason at least 44K will show up as in use).
