I'm sure it could if you set it up correctly.
I've got a network here at home with 2 redhat linux boxes, 2 Win98SE
boxes, 2 plain Win98 boxes, and a Win2k box.
I don't have it so that the Linux boxes show up in my Network Places
(I'm running the Win2k box); but I can access them via their LAN IP
address. (All of the various Win flavors show up just fine in each Win
machine.)
I've got a cable modem connected to a Linksys router with one IP,
which in turn connects to another router (can't remember what brand
now) that hands out internal IPs to all of my machines.
So even if you can't get it set up to show up in My Network Places (or
Network Neighborhood if you're running Win98 and below); just slap
them all into a router and access the thing via its IP addy.
