RE: [cobalt-users] Anyone here recommend (or not) Cobaltracks.com ?

I've had experience with them and lately it has been much improved. My
server was hacked and they did everything possible to contact me (I was on
holiday at the time) and helped to get a new server up and running (albeit
the wrong spec to start with but they soon replaced it).

The UK - US speed is now vastly improved with the new UUNet line and 2 more
lines being added soon. I've seen speeds relative to those of a UK based
server.

Hello all,

I have heard both some positive & negative comments on Cobaltracks.com.
We are very happy with our current provider (not them) for our primary
servers but are looking to setup an inexpensive additional remote backup
server for our nightly backups.

Their pricing at $99/month for a Raq3 / 15 GB with a one-time $200 fee
to upgrade it to 60 GB sounds great. I was just wondering if any of you
have any experiences (positive or negative) with this company and if you
would recommend them as a good option.

Any input / feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Best regards,
Chris West
