[cobalt-users] Append old mail to new?

Before I go screaming at @home, I have a question.
I moved one of my sites over to my new server. My mom (mail hog that
she is) still has some mail on the old server.
Will this work to get all of her mail into one file on the new
server?:
1. Transfer her old mail file to the new server and give it a little
extension (shirl.old) and mv it over to /home/spool/mail
2. Go into /home/spool/mail and try to append the old file to the new
file with something like:
shirl.old >> shirl

(I know I could go through having her change the IP address and all of
that, but I just came up with this idea and it would be SO much easier
than trying to explain things to her, LOL)
