RE: [cobalt-users] IMPORTANT SECURITY MESSAGE TO COBALT

Some of the less experienced list-readers might misinterpret Jay, so
I think will explain this post. It is, of course, deeply ironic, with
Jay actually acknowledging the validity of Dan Kriwitsky's post, that
perhaps someone with this sort of issue should take it up with Cobalt
support, rather than the users's list, and also acknowledging that
Dan's post should *not* be taken as a flame - as it wasn't a flame
by any sensible net-wide standard.

The give-away that Jay is posting tongue-in-cheek is the posting style,
as only a Clueless Newbie would post a single word followed by a complete
quote of the original post. Of course, having had ample opportunity to
read the posting guidelines in the Meta-FAQ, Jay is fully aware that
posting in this way is not only obnoxious in the extreme to those who
subscribe to the digest form of the list, but is also as good a way
as any of signalling to the wider readership that you are devoid of
Clue when it comes to mailing lists, and hence pretty unlikely to have
much to contribute on the subject of Unix-oid server administration.

However, it concerned me that some people might take Jay's posting at
face value, so I thought I'd better clear up any confusion.
