This "feature" is noted on one of the pkg installs.  It recommends that if
you will be installing this program on a site that already has stats, do it
at the beginning of a new month so you don't lose your previous stats info.

Please check http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/: "for best effect,
only install this package on the 1st of a month" etc.
