Thanks for your replies, it has worked for me in coping the mails from the 
admin mailbox to the client's mail box.

And also thanks a lot Kul for your detailed mail.

Or do the following to append them to a mailbox that you don't want to
overwrite:

cd /home/spool/mail/
cat admin >> other_user
