[cobalt-users] running a counter strike server

Hello all :o)

I have a raq 3 server from http://www.uk2.net and would like to set it up 
as a dedicated CS server.

The story so far............

FTP' d up the latest linux.HL/CS server files (3106/1.1 respectively)

followed instructions from http://server.counter-strike.net to get it running

Managed to get it running but no-one can connect to it :o(

I can see it in gamespy but fail to connect to it, have tried it from many 
different pooters and got my friends from around the country to try it and 
still not work. so am convinced it is my server problem.

When running the server it kicks up various error messages before it 
settles out and i can verify it is running by using "status". these are of 
the sort "couldn't connect to auth server ES_INVALID_AUTH" and "couldn't 
connect to WON server". can't remember the exact wording, but if you know 
what im babbling on about here then you will know what i mean :o)

I read the raq manual and went about registering my own domain name with 
interNIC so i could set up the DNS on the raq server. I followed the DNS 
setup instructions but still no working CS server :o(

Have any of you tried setting one of these up as a CS server (or half life 
server!!) and if so, could you point me to my mistakes or even better show 
me a "how-to" guide, hehe :o)
