Yes, actually, you will have to if I understand the situation aright.
I didn't understand really, the way you represented your dns records;
but assuming they are correct, it appears from correspondence on this
list that aliases set via the gui must prepend the host to the domain
address in order to be processed correctly. Personally, I find this a
bit silly.
There was a simple fix involving virtusertable that would allow leaving
off the host name posted to the list. It's archived here:
