Hi folks
I'm still getting this error from cron-weekly.
At first I installed the first pkg for this update and didn't have any
problems, except the missing symlinks which I created myself.
After the second try of this pkg came I out, I thought I'd stay on the
cobalt track and deleted my symlinks and after that installed the newer
vixie-cron update.
From this point on I started receiving the cron-weekly errors.
Has anybody finally found a solution to this problem, besides an answer I
have once read on this list that "it isn't an error to worry about" (citing
from my memory).
I don't think this is a satisfying answer for me, 'cause an error is still
an error, isn't it?!
Just FYI a snipped from the email:
Subject: Cron <root@ns1> run-parts /etc/cron.weekly
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/bash>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <MAILTO=root>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root>
zcat: stdout: Broken pipe
