Before anyone says anything this is not the SSL/IE5 problem (sorted that one
out long ago!).
What's happening is this.
I have a number of Virtual sites on my Raq 3, but I am having a problem with
some of the most recently added sites. A lot of the time, I can enter the
web address for one of these troublesome VS in the browser and immediately
get a "Page Not Found" but when I refresh they show. These are sites with
only the Cobalt page (no html pages added yet). It only happens with a
select few, all my others work fine all the time. I've had other people look
at them on different machines (to eliminate any chance of my comp/browser
playing up) and it still happens.
I've been through heaps of cobalt user messages and messages on Google/deja
but the majority point to the SSL problem (which none of these VS use) or
problems with IE5 itself. It's Sods Law that when I ring my hosts support
the sites load first time for them (apart from one time when they were
checking something else). What could it be causing this to happen with a
select few (namely the ones I last added)? Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated - most of these sites will be ecommerce sitesand it won't look
good if the site fails to load 1st time!
Thanks
Dan
