I suppose it depends on the program, or in this case, the mail server
choosing the reply-to or from address. I get mail bounced back to
postmaster@ because one of my customer's is on @Home and when they reject
based on a spam domain they don't allow mail from, instead of bouncing back
to the from or reply-to address that they're rejecting, they use the
return-path which is my server that forwarded the spam sent to my customer's
email address.
