[cobalt-users] Active Monitor flashes Red

I searched the FAQ's and also the Cobalt Knowledge Base to no avail.
I contacted Cobalt / Sun customer support, they could not find the cause /
cure and escalated the problem up to Ray Yip's office. No response from
Ray's office as of yet.

On a RaQ 1 (fully patched) I received the message copied below. the day
AFTER I had an aborted up-load to one of the sites this RaQ hosts. I was
using WSftp and my root admin password to up load the file for a client.
(the client called and changed their mind so I aborted the up load of the
300 MB file). The client's virtual site (www.xxx.com) has permissions for
around 500MB, and normally has only an index page and one such large file
available at a time for temporary use/net download. I normally use my root
admin password to move files around for such clients on various sites this
server hosts, which include some of my personal sites, and my e-mail server
etc. I find it convenient and have not had any difficulty in the past three
plus years.

Here is the message I got (only once):
----------------------------

Subject: Site ns1.eaglewerks.com is close to or over quota.
Site ns1.eaglewerks.com is using 119.5% of its disk space quota on the
Cobalt microserver. This site should delete some files or else eventually it
will be denied the ability to add files to the Cobalt microserver.
----------------------

Here is the information from the Active Monitor GUI concerning the problem:

Operating system and programs (yellow warning) 416.9 MB
Sites (RED WARNING) 217.9 MB
Free disk space (green) 1603.8 MB

On the Site Disk Usage the only Red Warning is:
ns1.eaglewerks.com Used: 0.6 MB Free: 1599 MB Total 1600 MB

Cobalt Customer support after browsing within the system (two different
Tec's) could find no reason for the Active Monitor warning. Any ideas on
the cause, and the possible remedy?

Any assistance or advice on pointing me in the correct direction would be
appreciated.
The Active Monitor flashing Red is a distraction....
