RE: [cobalt-users] email realying

Try a search in the Archive ... I know I've seen it in there. Sorry I don't
have better info ... I installed it quite sometime ago & my Ol' Brain
empties right after that. :-}

Thanks, but I didn't understand that? The POP before SMPT package? I had a
browse around that FTP but not sure what you mean?

Welcome Todd,
The easiest answer is the POP before SMTP package at the download site. I
took a quick look at ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub but didn't see it. Perhaps
someone has the URL handy ... another option would be to search the
achieves.

Hope this helps!

Hello,
I am a newbie to the RAQ's and setup of Internet servers etc.
Question for
you all, I own a newly purchased RAQ4r and can send email to
todd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and receive also, but I cannot send to any external
email addresses. I have been reading about the email relaying and have tried
things such as my IP range by entering XXX.XXX.XXX into the relay section.
But no joy at all here. I find it really weird that I need to enter IP
address at all to allow my customers to send mail through my RAQ?

I guess I am asking what is the best solution to have customers able
to
send and receive email from anywhere in the world using their accounts. Most
of my clients dial up on a third party ISP's and access their email accounts
via the Internet to my RAQ server.

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Todd Kirk
