Hi Wolfgang,

in case you still have full access to your GUI, you can try to restart your
telnet with the control panel in server management section. Simply uncheck
telnet server, save changes, and do it again.

If this does not help and you don't want to connect via serial cable
terminal to your RaQ off-rack, you can have a try and install 'webmin'. You
can retrieve a cobalt-friendly package from
http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/Features/Intel/Webmin-1.0.pkg

(may affect your warranty, yada yada)

With webmin you are able to do many things you'd need telnet for. Installing
SSH from http://www.openssh.org or http://www.ssh.com may be a good idea...
