Hmmm, so MAC doesn't have a hosts file, or something with the same
function?

I have a customer who is, as I post here, creating a Huge amount of error
messages as he slaves away trying to get his stuff to work on a site
that's he's viewing via Carrie's hack.  I'm not discouraging him, and if
he does discover "the magic path", I'll post it here.
