Mel,
All I can say about this issue is that Ehthernet interface 1 was intended to
be used on an internal LAN and Ethernet 2 was intended for internet
connectivity the first on being for administration at high speed.
Ultimately what you would wand in a whole 2nd server to mirror. Cobalt
StaqWare does this nicely but I think it's just for the 3i and 4i and
doesn't support RAID 1.
